Loud Voices

Loud voices aren’t necessarily strong voices. I’ve witnessed thundering voices in boardrooms, dominate group chats, and echoing through meetings as if volume were proof of wisdom.

But often, loudness hides something else.

  • Fear yells because it dreads exposure.

  • Uncertainty shouts because it fears questions.

  • Ignorance shouts the loudest — because silence would reveal the truth.

Passion doesn’t need muting. But wise leaders know the difference between sound and substance. Loud voices demand attention; wise voices earn it.

So next time someone booms across the table, ask yourself: is this direction — or desperation?

Strength is steadier, leadership is often quieter, and together, they display confidence.
